Welcome
I have been practicing, learning and teaching yoga in the Iyengar tradition for over 20 years.
My passion for yoga is the foundation of my teaching philosophy. I firmly believe that every body can practice yoga, regardless of age, flexibility and ability. All one needs is an open mind, a sense of humor and a willingness to try.
I offer public classes, small group or private instruction to all ages, physical abilities and levels in the Baltimore, Pikesville, Lutherville and Timonium areas of Maryland.
The atmosphere in my classes is based on mutual respect, friendliness and compassion towards all.
I hope to see you in class.
With gratitude,
Robyn
What the students think...
I am particularly impressed by the soul (I would even say Soul) she puts into her teaching. After the class you feel clearly that you have been directly helped to become stronger and better. All in all, I feel very fortunate to have met Robyn and to have her as a teacher."
— Dan Stutman
Robyn individualizes her approach to each student considering preexisting conditions, strengths and weaknesses. It is true that anyone of any age or infirmity can benefit from Yoga with Robyn."
— Anna Mae Becker, age 79
Robyn has been my yoga instructor for the past ten years. Even after all this time, she continues to keep class fun and filled with new things to learn. Her joy at teaching yoga to students of all abilities radiate throughout each and everyone of her classes."
— Brian
Simply put, Robyn is a wonderful yoga instructor. Her knowledge of Iyengar yoga, combined with her skill in recognizing and supporting students with a variety of flexibility and skills makes her classes both challenging and rewarding."
